Nevertheless, I put this thread together, which I hope can provide useful tips. Unlocks ALL factions as playable in Total War: Rome II and offers a starting foundation for all factions. Honestly, Im not sure how to create new ones. Find the file 'campaigndescriptions.txt' and open it with notepad. If you want to make your own description, go to your Rome - Total War Folder. I create hundreds of mods in various games for the community and have limited resources that are not sufficient to continuously solve individual user problems that are not caused by my mods. Create your own description for the other factions (it can be just a few words of complete nonsense, as far as I know). Please read the thread, search the web or contact support to find a solution. If it doesn't work for you, something must be wrong in your game settings. If you find any bugs or issues please look into the Troubleshooting thread. If you and your partner have the same mods activated you'll be able to play with unlocked factions in your multiplayer campaign. Note: Turns per year cannot be changed on a running campaign. Turns per year add-ons can be find under the links above. Please check your other mods before complaining the factions aren't unlocked! However, it should work with almost every other mod, even with mods that change another campaign's startpos. The other playable factions may be unlocked all at once by winning a campaign (short or long) as one of the five initially. Of these, only England, France, the Holy Roman Empire, Spain, and Venice are available from outset. In the Grand Campaign game seventeen factions are playable. Campaign overhauls are usually not compatible with a mod like this. There are twenty-two factions in Medieval II: Total War.
